My GSTIN/ARN Number is approved but no email received from department and not able to login into GST portal – What to do?

There is new issue which is being faced by the lot of people on fresh GST registration. After filing the GST REG 1 on gst.gov.in, the ARN number gets generated. After the ARN number being generated, the taxpayer needs to wait for 3 to 5 working days to get the GSTIN number from the government.

However, the problem people are facing is that even after the approval of ARN number, they are not receiving the email and the GST number from the government. Due to this, they are unable to raise the GST invoices and hence, facing a lot of problem in their day to day business.

Email to helpline and calling on the number

Taxpayers has also tried and failed on this option as well. The officer on the helpline says that they have no idea about it and recommend the person to either wait or visit the department.

Visiting the Central GST suvidha Kendra

Taxpayers also visited the department to find the solution to this problem however, there as well, they didn’t find any solution. The basic root of this problem is that the GST system is completely online and even the department has no access to it and hence visiting the department is also not a good option.

Any possible solution?

The only solution to this problem is to wait and let it solve on its own. This is because this is a new system and will take time to settle down. Therefore, the only solution is to wait patiently and hope that government will find a solution to this problem soon.
