How to Download GST Registration Certificate from GST website by Existing taxpayers – VAT, Service tax, Excise

1.0 Introduction

The GST registration certificate for all the existing taxpayers shall be available to download from GST website from 27th June, 2017. This facility shall be only available to person who got themselves migrated under GST.

This facility of downloading the registration certificate from the GSTN portal can be downloaded from 27th June, 2017.

 

2.0 How to Download Registration Certificate

The procedure to download the registration certificate is as follows:

 

#Step 1 – Login with the Existing details

The first step is to login into gst.gov.in portal with the ID and password generated at the time of migration. You can take the login ID and password from your lawyer or CA to login independently into the system.

 

#Step 2 – Select the Tab Download Certificate

Once you are logged in, take your curser to “download certificate tab” where you can select your registration documents.

 

#Step 3 – Download the registration certificate

Once you click on the download registration, your GST registration certificate shall be downloaded in the PDF format.

 

3.0 Status of person who are not migrated

If you are a existing taxpayer under VAT, service tax or excise but didn’t got migrated yet, then you must get migrated under GST to get your GST registration certificate.

Further, the GST migration shall again start on 25th June, 2017.
