Another Surgical Strike on common man – Bank charges to increase from 20th January

In the four years of Modi government, the common man has witnessed various promises, talks, mann ki baat, speeches in the US, road shows, interviews, cow rakshak, RSS seva, speeches on nationalism, talk shows on fight against black money, the famous demonitization, GST etc and for every promise the government made, it is the common man who has paid the price. It is the common man who was forced to suffer in the name of nationalism and love towards the country and we will show you some important instances how government fools the general public:

Time to suffer again – In the name of digital India

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched Digital India scheme to promote digital transactions to increase transparency in the system so that the black money could take a hit. Further, some 

However, this scheme has become one of the worst nightmares for the common man as one can see direct loot by the government in the common man pocket.

This time the government is increasing bank charges to a completely new level and this will come as a shock to many people because at one hand, the government is banning and restricting the cash transaction to promote digital transaction and on another hand, making banking transaction very costly and ultimately it is the common man who is suffering.

 

We will lay down following points which can be seen as a direct attack to the pocket of a common man:

• Charges on cash withdrawal: If you visit the bank for cash withdrawal, then there will be a maximum cap of Rs.50,000/- with a charge of Rs.10 per withdrawal.
   

• Third party cash withdrawal: If you give a cheque to another person for cash withdrawal, then there will be a limit of maximum Rs.10,000 with a charge of Rs.10 per cheque.
                                                                                           
• Charges on cash deposit in saving account: This point may be a surprise to you now banks will levy charges on cash deposit as well. The maximum cash deposit will be Rs.2 lakh per day and charges will be levied as follows:
  • First Rs.50,000 free
  • Rs.2.50 per thousand
     

• Charges on cash deposit in current account: Doing business in getting tougher and costlier instead of getting easy and cheap. Apart from other things, now depositing cash in the bank account will become costlier, because banks will levy more charges from now on in the following manner:
  • First Rs.25,000 free
  • Rs.2.50 per thousand
     

• Pay for internet banking/mobile banking: Pay for getting digital. Now, if you opt for internet or mobile banking, then you will need to pay Rs.25 per request. This is a gift from the government to the general public.
   

• Charges for PIN and password: This is the last thing one can expect from the bank. From 20th January, people will need to pay Rs.10 per transaction for each PIN and password generation.
   

• Charges on Passbook updation: Though it is not clear whether, there will be any charge on passbook updation, but as per the report, it is discussed by the banking community to charge Rs.25 on every passbook updation request.
   

• Charges on Minimum balance account: Recently, SBI has increased the charged for not maintaining the minimum balance in your savings or current account.

Above is only a starting and we expect many more gifts from the government and banking system in the name of nationalism and love for the country.

What is the real reason for increasing bank charges?

The real reason for increasing bank charges is the choking financial condition of the banks. The NPA is increasing from year to year basis and the government is finding no solution for the same and hence, they are increasing bank charges so that more money will flow to the banks.

In very simple words, our hard earned money will be used by banks to finance for the losses made by the business man like Vijay Mallya.

At the end, we would like to make a point that common man does not belong to any political party but he expects that any political party after getting power will help the nation and will ease the life of a common man. However, when the politicians fool the general public in the name of religion, caste, nationalism, then it really hurts the people sentiments at large and ultimately the people lose their trust in government and power.
